Welcome to Primrose House! A contemporary styled period townhouse beautifully and carefully refurbished. 3 bedrooms (1 king, 2 double) 2 shower rooms, kitchen/diner with wood fired stove, sitting room, garden room wood fired stove. In the heart of Westport on Mill St. Public carparks close by. Stroll to theatre, restaurants, cafes and shops in our award winning town. Perfect base for exploring the Clew Bay Area of the Wild Atlantic Way. Residential area of town so for quiet guests only
The space
Located on Mill Street in the centre of Westport town, you enter the house into a smart hallway with tiled floor. To your left is a cosy sitting room with Tv (for streaming services only) Behind the sitting room on the ground floor is a spacious shower room. To the back of the house then is a contemporary kitchen, with a cast iron solid fuel stove. Oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, nespresso machine. There isnt a dryer but for longer stay guests theres a laundrette at the end of the street and drying racks are provided in the cupboard under the stairs. Back door leads to the outside patio and steps up to a paved garden. In the garden is a super garden room with a solid fuel stove and electric heating. Desk and seating, great hang out space to listen to music etc.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, one at the front which is the master bedroom with a king sized bed, an ornamental cast iron fireplace and fitted wardrobes. Two traditional sash windows looking out at Mill Street. Behind that is a small double bedroom with a double bed and fitted wardrobes. On the same level there is the second shower room and a third small double bedroom with fitted wardrobes.
The whole house has been extensively renovated and upgraded while retaining its period feel and layout. Gas fired central heating provides great warmth and hot water. The two solid fuel stoves provide atmosphere and heat, there’s one in the kitchen and one in the garden room.

Two shower rooms, sitting/dining room, attic chill out room. Located on Mill Street, a stones throw to the Clock and the historic Octagon is 3 mins walk. A stroll to the many superb cafes, restaurants, shops, pubs, theatre, cinema. Parking to the rear in a public car park. The front door on Mill Street opens firstly to a little hallway which leads to an open plan ground floor. To the left there is a sitting / dining room. Dining area to the front and a sitting area to the rear with a lovely log burning stove fire. To the right of the staircase (original staircase, care is needed) is the compact kitchen, and also a double bedroom and spacious shower room. The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven/microwave, hob, coffee machine. Back door to a small yard with a utility room containing washing machine and dryer. On the first floor is a spacious master bedroom with a super king bed. Next door is the second spacious shower room. On the next floor there is the third double bedroom and a twin bedroom with timber stairs up to a chill out room / yoga space etc. Beds are all super comfy with quality 100% cotton bedding. The property is fresh, contemporary, uncluttered and bright throughout.
