Meadowview House, Co Mayo

We had a wonderful stay at Meadowview. The location is fabulous - out in the countryside with 360 degree views from Croagh Patrick to Clew Bay, with a lovely big deck which we were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather to enjoy and watch the late summer sunset from. Great big kitchen to cook in and dining room again with that fabulous view. All very well appointed and comfortable. We had a great stay and would love to come here again. Thankyou.

What a beautiful house and a lovely welcome too. Despite a last minute booking the house was in perfect order and is me if he most well appointed homes I’ve every been in. Spacious doesn’t really explain how big this house is. It has 4 bedrooms over two huge connected houses and has been renovated to a superb & individual standard with kits of character (the hardwood floors are quite spectacular!) Each bedroom was huge, cinema room was used daily, outside is a huge garden flanked by a beautiful converging stream with bridge - so tranquil and perfect. The house is literally 5 mins from Westport and 2 mins from Crough Patrick. Easy access ti a shop across the road and quick to get to the main supermarket or takeaways. Beds are new and comfy with excellent pillows & covers. 5 star. Kitchen and dining suits 12 people and the property sleeps 9. The living room has the most spectacular curved window taking in the amazing garden and perfect for reading for chatting with family / friends. All in all it’s given us great faith in self catering as this was our first experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and to recommend this property.

Rosmuc Apartment - Great family place. Our kids had a great time playing around the house and letting the dog walk. Excellent spot for exploring Connemara. There are no restaurants really close by, so homecookong worked well. But there is enough to find with a half hour drive.
