Inishturk Island lies off the west coast of Ireland and is one of the most magical places you will ever visit! Although the island is small, if you enjoy the outdoors and rugged countryside as well as the uniqueness of small communities then Inishturk is a must visit for you and your family. Although the island is small we dont recommend these cottages to people with low mobility as there is no taxi service on the island for the duration of your stay.
These cottages have everything you need for a comfortable stay, you will need to bring supplies with you during the winter months as the local store has limited opening hours but don't worry the host will be on hand to transport your luggage and supplies as well as yourselves to your cottage.

The island is perfect for those that enjoy exploring by walking, hiking, kayaking or swimming, with several beautiful beaches and piers to enjoy on those sunny evenings.
The local community centre (15 minute walk) hosts a fantastic restaurant and bar with several festivals and nights of music lined up for throughout the year. Enjoy hearing stories and looking at photos of island life.

Thoroughly enjoyable few days. Everybody from lads on ferry to Mary and Deborah in relation to the house and Sean in the Community Centre were very friendly and accommodating to any request. Scenery on island is spectacular and purple loop definitely worth doing to see the sights.
Very accommodating as we had to unexpectedly check out early

I hope By the Sea can give excellent feedback to the locals whom created these properties, they have done a terrific job and were so helpful to us on the island. We are planning to stay again next year.
Loved this rental. Brand new, everything you needed in the home. Locals are wonderful and accommodating. Good communication from property and locals. The house is warm, well equipped and so scenic. It's opposite a lovely harbour where you can swim.
The only negative is perhaps how hilly it is on the island in terms of walking. There were one or two things with property to fix e.g. a wire outside which bangs against the wall when wind occurs, shelves in bathroom. But to be honest it's a haven in Inisturk and the house was perfect for our family.
